Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DakkuDakku, including its website, diary editor, community, shop, and related features (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sangwoo Jung, an independent developer operating DakkuDakku. The Service is available at dakkudakku.com.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If the law where you live requires parent or guardian authorization for you to use an online service or for us to process your personal information, you may use the Service only after that authorization is provided. You may use some features without signing in. Account features support Google sign-in and Apple sign-in where available. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity carried out through it. Information you provide must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.

If you use the Service without a connected account, your diary data is associated with your browser session and may be lost if you clear browser data or lose access to that session. Inactive anonymous accounts and their data may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity. When When you connect an anonymous account to Google, or to Apple where available, its eligible diaries and photos are transferred to the connected account. The original anonymous account is scheduled for deletion after 7 days.

3. Your content

You retain your rights to the diaries, images, text, and other materials you create or upload (“Your Content”). You give us permission to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and provide the Service. If you publish a diary to the community, you authorize us to display its published image and accompanying information to other users and to make the public page accessible by its link. You can make a post private or delete it using the available controls.

You are responsible for Your Content and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, or harasses, threatens, or exposes another person’s private information. We may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.

4. Community conduct

Use the community respectfully. Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access another person’s account or data, evade security controls, or use automated means to disrupt or extract data from the Service. You may report posts and use available blocking and hiding controls. We may temporarily suspend accounts for violations. Repeated violations may result in permanent suspension. We may remove a post or other content that violates these Terms or applicable law. You may appeal an enforcement decision through the Service’s Contact page or by emailing us at the address in the Contact section.

5. Points and shop items

Points are promotional, non-cash credits earned through eligible in-Service activities. They cannot be purchased with money, exchanged for cash, transferred to another user, or used outside the Service. Points do not expire. Points may be used for eligible stickers, backgrounds, or other items shown in the shop. Item availability and point prices may change. Completed purchases and point balances are associated with your account and are not refundable or redeemable for cash, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may correct balances or transactions resulting from errors, abuse, or unauthorized activity.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google and Apple for sign-in where available, Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Microsoft Clarity, Supabase, Cloudflare, and advertising providers. Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not operate.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the Service develops. We work to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Account deletion

You can request deletion of a connected account from Settings. Deletion removes the account and associated diaries, community posts, comments, reactions, profile, points, purchase records, and uploaded files. This action cannot be undone. Content already transferred to a different account remains with that account. Anonymous accounts can be lost when their browser data is cleared and cannot be recovered through an account deletion request.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service or its requirements change. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live. Disputes will be handled by a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.

11. Contact and appeals
